Boyd K. Packer once taught the “proximity principle” of revelation, meaning that the closer a person can get to the place where the revelation took place, the more in tune with the Spirit we become so that the Lord can reveal to us what He desires us to know. It is believed that the land has a spirit. Past events are recorded within the spirit of the land and a seeker can tie into that spirit and be allowed to visualize the events that occurred and receive a witness from the Spirit of their truth. Each of the tours listed is designed not for site-seers, but for sight-seekers, with Jesus Christ as the focus of our vision.
