Michael L. King
Brother King has served to teach students the gospel of Jesus Christ from the scriptures for more than 35 years. Brother King loves the Lord, the students he teaches, and the scriptures. His engaging style of teaching and thought-provoking questions lead the learner to ponder and discover the Savior through truths that are simple yet profound. Brother King has published works through Brigham Young University on the book of Isaiah, the book of Alma, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He also developed and taught an Adult Education Course on the Atonement of Jesus Christ that has been enjoyed by hundreds of eager adults from Texas to California. He recently published "The Unknown Disciple," a historical fiction account of the birth, ministry, and atonement of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of the unnamed disciples of the New Testament. For Brother King, his greatest achievement came when he married an angel named Michelle Jaworski. She has been the song in his heart, the bounce in his step, the twinkle in his eye, and the smile on his face for nearly 40 years. They have four children, 3 boys and 1 girl, who are now grown and living in various parts of the western United States. Brother and Sister King also have six grandsons, and two adorable granddaughters. They currently serve as ordinance workers in the San Antonio Temple and reside in New Braunfels, Texas.
